Books I need to, eh, write about.

Forgive any misspellings--done from memory

The Mercy of Thin Air by Ronlyn Domingue.
Goddess of Spring by PC Cast
Howl's Moving Castle by Diane Wynne-Jones
That swashbuckling romance which is upstairs--the one Bev recommended. Good.
The Black Lyon by Jude Deveraux.
The Sandlewood Princess by Chase
The Prince of Magic by Stuart

I'd vote for you. Where do I go sign up? (This is reference to the SBTB entry you wrote)

Well, honestly. Who sits back and lets her political opponents paint her as a pornographer? Duh.

But I think the real question is: Why would ANYONE run for Comptroller?

It's right up there with Insurance Commissioner in my book. Goody. Political office which is boring as hell too.

And although I'd love your vote, I think you'd have to move across the country and all that. Here's a thought--you run for office where you are, and I'll be your political machine. Not only does Kate write Romantica, but she also hosts fights with gay-bashing Romance writers on her very own blog! Think of all the spin doctoring we'd get to engage in!

Oh, but damn. You garden. Voters love candidates who garden. And Bake. And who are mothers. You're a shoe-in.

Heh, yeah, which one? Cause if I'm the Bev referred to hereI have no idea which it is . . . Scratching my head frantically.

0h, a light glimmers in the darkness that is my brain. Are you by chance talking about LADY ANNE'S DANGEROUS MAN? That one is rather good. ;D

No wait, I'm still trying to find a copy of Lady Anne's Dangerous man. This was When Dawn Tames the Night.

Did you recommend it, Bev? Because if you did, it was good. If you didn't, just go ahead and pretend you did.

Okay, let's just get to the meat of it - how did you like the Stuart ;)

Don't think it was me then because I can't ever remember having read that one. Sounds like a great bodice ripper title, though. Either that are a rip-roaring vampire romance . . .

Ahem. :D

Who's the author?

'Til Dawn Tames the Nigh--good one. Haven't reread it in years, but way back when I reread it so often I bought it in hardcover.

Just surfed on over from the Risky Regencies blog (that makes it sound like this is going to be spam, doesn't it?) and saw your list and just have to say that I think HOWL'S MOVING CASTLE is a fantastic book!!!! I utterly worship Diana Wynne Jones. And IMHO, that's one of her best. I love love love it, and have read it many times. And as a true fan, I am trying to spread the DWJ gospel (as I have for years -- though since HP became big, I don't really need to anymore!)
